The Washington Trustee, Ltd. was formed in February 2004 by Marcia Joslyn Sill and Carmen K. Bullard. Carmen K. Bullard, the Executive Trust Administrator, has a wide background having practiced law in the State of Washington for more than 15 years. Marcia Joslyn Sill was the owner and founder of Marcia Joslyn Sill, Inc., a personalized portfolio management service now Potomac Investments. This company is available for investment advice and portfolio management if one does not already have a professional money manager.
Our company has continued to grow. Susan Spuller recently joined the company as an Executive Trustee . Ms. Spuller is a licensed attorney with over 14 years experience in both litigation and estate planning. Her background includes several years practicing at the Dussault Law Group where she drafted a variety of trust instruments and provided legal advice to beneficiaries and trustees. Tyler Hannon also joined the company as an administrative assistant. He recently graduated from Whitworth College with a bachelors degree in business administration with a focus on accounting.
We recognize that a professional's relationship with his/her client is a valued relationship. This includes attorneys, accountants and investment advisors. Therefore, we welcome the opportunity to work with each client's own professional advisors in the trust administration process. However, if necessary, we will recommend various professionals with whom we have worked in the past and and in whom we have confidence.
The Washington Trustee, Ltd. provides a variety of services depending on the particular needs of each unique trust. We provide administrative services for all types of trusts including special needs trusts, educational trusts, real estate trusts, executive deferred pension trusts etc. All services are billed on a monthly basis. A specific hourly fee schedule is set for each type of service ranging from $45 per hour to $120 per hour depending on the service provided.
