Legal Support Services

The Washington Trustee, Ltd. is commited to guide you and assist you
No matter what stage of the process you are in.

Beginning Early Stages

The Washington Trustee, Ltd. if requested may help one locate an attorney to draft any document necesssary for either the formation of a trust, or for transferring a trust. We know attorneys that we have known for many years and have worked with in the past. We will provide your attorney with whatever he or she needs pursuant to your wishes. We will also provide information about our services, so that the trust agreement may provide for particular services to be available, depending on your wishes and those of the beneficiary(ies) of the individual trust.

When A Trust Already Exists

In these situations, The Washington Trustee, Ltd. works with your attorney in whatever way necessary to make any transfer of assets as smooth as possible. We are available to review any documents, prepare declarations, or provide whatever support your attorney may need. If there is an Estate, we will also work with the Executor of the Estate or the Personal Representative to prepare whatever documents are necessary to transfer trust assets.

Special Capabilities and Experience

With a former attorney as our executive staff person, we believe we have a better understanding on some of the legal issues that may arise. Thus, our record keeping and organization will assist when any issue arises. Most attorneys need detailed information. Because this information is readily available, in an organized fashion, it  saves the attorney time and ultimately the trust money. If there are any issues and an attorney is involved, we will be available to assist in any way to make that interaction as smooth as possible.

Any special requirements needed may be discussed at the time of engagement. We are very flexible and wish to meet the needs of each individual trust as much as possible as each trust is unique.
